I recently picked this up from our own psychodave. Dave, thanks for another AWESOME transaction.

This thing is so much fun, I can't believe I never tried one...or the PQ3...before!

When I first got it, I strictly messed around with it IN FRONT of my RM100 and loved it..you can basically custom boost your amp. How cool is that?

A couple days ago, I hooked up the second side in the loop.

What an amazing amount of tone shaping you can do with these.

If there is anything that has bothered you or something you would like to taylor to your own taste about certain amps, this thing is great for "modifying" the sound.

Just so much fun :D

Oh yeah...I read some complaints that these units can be noisy, but so far, my experience is that as long as I use my decimator pedal, it isn't any noisier than slamming the front of a high gain amp with any other boost.

Great EQ. I am surprised that more people dont own one. I only sold it because I have a TC 2240.

I will probably pick up one of the TC units if one pops up, but I am really happy with the PQ6.

Still can't believe I never used one of the Furman units...

Love this thing.

I have one I run in the loop of the Suhr modded Marshall. The cool combo there is that the PQ has high/low level inputs and the loop John put in it has a high/low impedance select. So, it stays quiet at the levels needed for gig volume. Hell yeah, they are great units. Did not care for it at all up front though.

As a matter of fact, I have two of them. One of the later model blue face with red knobs and one of the original green faced ones.
