Hey guys! I have a Friedman modded vintage Marshall JMP that I love, but it's been a bit of a problem child. The latest issue is the FX loop. Sometimes when I turn the amp on with the loop engaged, the volume will be cut in half and there is a loud hum. If I flick the bypass switch a few times, it will usually come back in and sound normal. This also happens while I'm playing and I have to do the same thing, or unplug and plug back in the jacks. This is frustrating, as that I can't gig with it with this problem. Do I need a new loop? Any ideas? I've already had the Send jack replaced.
