For anyone interested, I figured out how to wire footswitches for Wizard, also single ts and dual trs footswitches for Friedman.

For less than the cost of one new footswitch, I found a couple of cheap footswitches on Craigslist (Marshall trs 90012 for SS100 and Orange FS-2 for the Wiz MC50) and converted the wiring to switch channels and boost the lead channel for each amp.

There are different ways to wire footswitches, for different amps.
The Wiz works with the way Friedman wires a single ts switch. You can build as many switches/jacks into a single pedal that you need for a Wiz. I could have made a quad footswitch for the Wiz but went with a dual, knowing I'd never use the clean channel boost or effects loop on/off.

Neither Friedman or Wizard work with how Soldano, Orange or Marshall footswitches are wired.
A Mesa Mk V25 trs dual footswitch works for Friedman.

No resistors needed. Just switch, LED and jack. You can hardwire a cable to the switch (no jack), but you'll need a strain relief bushing.

Here are the diagrams I drew:

A pic of a Friedman TRS switch. The right side is the same as a single ts switch, what you would use for a Wizard:

Here's what I ended up with, Marshall trs for SS100, Orange FS-2 for Wizard, and a single ts Friedman that I mostly use with a Mesa amp switcher:

Hope this is helpful!
