G&L Rampage USA

I have been considering getting a G&L Rampage USA but have a few questions for anyone who owns one or has played one. How is feel of the satin finished neck? I am used to Wolfgangs & Charvels, is it similiar or does it feel heavily laquered like a fender strat? Also, what about the neck profile? Overall, any input on the good and the bad of the overall guitar would be appreciated.

I own the import model but played a USA at NAMM. Neck was not lacquered in feel and was nice and smooth, with a thin C profile.
