I'm running my G-major 2 after my JMP-1 as the FX loop is garbage. My current signal chain is:

Guitar -> JMP-1 -> TC Electronics G-Major 2 -> Power Amp -> Cab

I use the send of the JMP-1s effects loop to send signal to my tuner.

On the TC Electronics G-Major 2 there is routing options, I currently have it running semi-parallel but I've never taken time to look into what is the best routing options for my set up.

Any advice?

Cheers! :rock:

Hey ghosty,

Those routing options are for the internal routing of the effects, which is completely dependent on how you want it to sound. Those routing options do not depend on where the Gmajor is in your setup.

Serial runs the effects output of one "block" into the effects input of the next "block," (Modulation -> delay). Serial 2 runs the modulation block on the repeats of the delay block only, while otherwise being serial. Semi- parallel runs your delay black and reverb block parallel to each other, and parallel puts pitch, mod, delay, and reverb in parallel with each other.

Hey thanks dude, that's super helpful!

I run a little delay and reverb on my rythm and delay chorus and reverb on my lead. I find that semi-parallel is least muddy but it's hard to tell.
