Yeah... you can interpret that subject several ways.. but anyway.
I have a problem I'm hoping you guys can help with. I have a Suhr Modern that's awesome. It came setup great from the factory and the only adjustments I've done is the truss rod as the weather changes. I have a problem that is annoying. The G string is choking. Fret it at the 12th fret and it's definitely getting choked compared to the neighboring B and D strings. It's not fretting out and everything appears fine at the bridge. It's also not the strings or the pickups. I'm thinking it's possibly getting choked at the nut.
I don't have a tech nearby and I have to take a trip and schedule stuff in order to take my guitars there so I thought maybe one of you have had this happen and have an easy way to test/remedy it? It's not a huge deal but some parts that require that G string ringing out it definitely sticks out. It's amazing how much that G string is used.
Appreciate any help.
Thanks,
~B
