Been on Reverb for a couple years now and never had an issue UNTIL... Insaw a deal too good to be true. Had to hop on it. Primacoustic “London 10” room treatment set for &250 new. Seller stated it was opened for inspection but never put up.
I sent a message on the 9/2/18 making sure when I got it it would be “as new”. No response that night but said “heck with it” and grabbed it the next day on 9/3. That is less than 50% off.
48 hours go by and nothing. Usually Teverb recommends shipping within 48 hours. I reach out. Ask they guy when he’d be shipping and to verify it was “as new”. Send another note on 9/8. Call Reverb on 9/9 asking about policy on shipping and if anything can be done. They offer to refund me. I told them I’d like to give it another day or two as it’s a very good deal. They reach out to the guy. Crickets.
Reverb calls me on the 10th saying that I should take the refund as they can’t get the seller. I ask them to hold until Friday.
Guy FINALLY responds saying “Sorry. Was in the studio recording my album. I’ll ship it Thursday.”
So no response for over a week and not shipping for 10 days after purchase.
Now, I’ve NEVER left a negative feedback before. Not even with over a decade on eBay.
What would you all do? Wait to see the condition of the set first?
