Gallien Kreuger 250ml With Cab Impulses

Decided it would be interesting to run a Gallien Kreuger 250ML through some Cab Impulses. Rigged it up using the FX send on the amp straight into my interface. Here are the results on a pretty bog standard marshall 1960AX cab sim. I don't know if I like it or not... here are the results... only FX is a bit of delay. The Chorus and Reverb on the GK are by-passed and I have installed a speaker kill switch on the back of the amp so I could only hear the ouput from my DAW

Agreed. A little muddy and woofy bottom end which I had to roll back. Still sounds better than most SS micro amps they produce these days, not bad for a 32 year old toaster!
