Thanks so much guys, Gary was one of my deepest influences.
I think his eighties tone got better and better with it's peak during 1987's ”Wild Frontier” world tour.
The famous concert in Stockholm at Isstadion.
I purchased this incredible concert on the VHS medium which remains it's only official release.
I converted my copy to DVD but there was a noticable drop in audio quality.
Last year was the 25th anniversary of the April concert.
It had been hoped that whoever owns the rights purchased from Virgin.
There was some mention in Europe of a DVD purposed release, but this version came from like a 3rd generation copy not the master. This was a travesty, fortunately this didn't get released.
The film was shot by the top notch NFL Films who ended up working on the previously released in 1984 ”Emerald Aisles” and the later ”An Evening of the Blues”.
The production values camerawork and editing is terrific.
The sound recording and mix is amongst the best live show ever.
For all us long standing Moore fans, the two year anniversary of Gary's death has just passed, Febuary 6th.
The news from England has most recently said that the estate is still working on future releases.
I for one was quite vocal especially about the ”Wild Frontier” video.
It appeared apparently correctly that this concert arguably Gary's finest rock moment was rightly witheld .
On the Gary Moore worldwide Hungarian based fansite forum ”The Lord of the Strings” which I have vigorously contributed to since 2005,I offered my research, tryi

Apologies I am writing this on a ”smart” phone.
I tried contacting the original engineer who mixed the show and even Gary's ex-manager from back then Steve Barnett who is now VP of Sony Records, but no one replied to me.
I was wondering if NFL films still have master copies of the vídeo.
I got no response.
Neil Carter, Gary's longtime writing partner, keyboardist and second guitarist/vocalist whom I interviewed in 2009 and we became friends, knows no more about any future plans than I do!
I had approached Gary through Graham Lilley, the guitar tech who apparently had become Gary's manager.
He replied to me that Gary wasn't interested in that at that time, though I have my doubts he ever even heard abought my request!
I still haven't abandoned this for the future.
Thanks for reading my research and check out my contributions to The Lord of the Strings, I post there as Emerald, look at the old section of the forum as well.
Cheers

Great rhythm playing and vocals from Neil, this V he has must have some really hot pickups fitted, Neil playing the Les Paul given to him by Gary, one of the few electrics he has left selling most of them over the past years... A Wild One is the most Lizzy like of the three new ones
