I am putting together a "B" rig pedal board and I wanted to use the small Peak midi controller with a GCX switcher for a about 5-6 pedals. I was wondering if anybody ever tried putting a GCX under a Pedal Train board. This way I can keep the board fairly small. Pics would be nice.

Check this out. I got this board as part of a package deal, and the GCX was mounted under the board. I'll elt you have it if you want to pay for shipping. :)

Very cool. I may have to take this off your hands. Could you send me the dimensions? It may be a bit large as I was trying to keep the board as small as possible. I was thinking the Pedal Train because it has that angle to it and comes with a hard case.
Thanks for offering.

Kage posted this up last week I think, it is pretty cool for what you are doing, the smaller one. http://grid1.com/products/pedaljeanie.html

Also a small board with this switcher would be great, even though the switcher is a bit expensive it is as cool as can be, it would be the GCX, MIDI Switcher and amp switching as well as expression pedal support and midi out.

The musiccom looks great and basically does everything imaginable. There are 3 benefits of the GCX however 1) I don't have to take up an entire loop to send a signal to the effects loop of my amp (the GCX has an In and Out for each loop) 2)cost--I could get a Peak midi controller for $150 and a used GCX for $200. So I could have the same control for $350 vs. the Musicom's $750 3) Mounting the looper (GCX) under the pedal board would save real estate, so I could use a smaller board, loopers take up space because of all the cables coming out of the back of them.

Excellent points!! The cost alone makes enough sense to not do it. I have often thought in the past of putting my old GCX under a board. Roosters Trailer Trash boards have a rise to them, so it might fit perfectly under one of them. No matter the solution I hope you get it working for you!!
