I wasn't even going to post this to waste peoples time, but it just pisses me off. I bought an Epiphone Jr head off of Craigslist yesterday, basically because I just need a low watt cheap head, my bassman is down.. and I am pretty much broke. Picked it up, paid for it. Drove to get my friend from work, and it has been really hot here in STL, so I left my back windows cracked just enough...I am talking like 6 inches maybe... and didn't think about it. I was inside for literally 7 minutes and I come back out and my amp is gone..along with a bunch of old hip hop and 90's cds (my entire FNM cd collection). Fucking thieves. Believe me, I know better than to leave a window down, but this guy had to have the skinniest/longest arms to reach down and unlock the door. I guess I am glad he didn't smash my window out. Moral of the story...fuck thieves.

A crackhead is kinda like an octopus, he can shrink down to a quarter of his normal size to get into tight confines and steal stuff....
This is why we have shotguns :D

Yeah St. Louis is the worst for music gear. It sucks because with the type of music that I play that is pretty much the only place to play besides KC in the state of MO.

Sorry to hear but Stl is notorious for music gear being stolen. I try not to leave it anywhere unless I have to.

Two things I hate about theft. First, some lowly bastard stole my stuff, that I paid hard earned money for. Second the cops will do nothing. I had my car broken into and ripped off. The dude's hand print was on the inside of my windshield. Cops didn't even come out and take a report.
So frustrating.

First off, real sorry bout the boost...

Secondly - ya, it's not so much the thieves I hate (I try to look at it from both sides ya know??) but the feeling of violation one gets from being stolen from. That's the part that always irks me. It gets personal - and that's the part that stings.

Sorry bro - let Karma flow...that's all you can do.

A jackass came through my neighborhood a few months ago and broke into nearly every vehicle on my street and probably a few other streets. I had a couple of items that had small value but the thief didn't take any of the items. He just emptied the glove box on the floor and then locked the vehicle when he was finished. My neighbor had a bigger mess because the thief threw everything that was in that car all up and down the street. I suspect it was a knucklehead looking for change for cigarettes. Man, what a waste.

You have auto insurance right, they should cover the replacement costs of all the stolen gear...

Not really sure, but I don't think it will cover items in the car. I have a rider on my homeowners to cover my stuff out of my house. It's not very expensive.

That will depend on his coverage and deductible.
