My 2 Friedman modded Marshalls:
1981 Marshall 50 watt
1975 Marshall 100 watt
The 75 Marshall is the only "thing" I was ever sorry I sold.
I boguht a CCV and the BE-100 and was truly done with GAS, then my back started hurting. Turns out the fusion I had in 2008 did not take. It it loose but bolted together. The disk above it blew out and shifted my spine. The surgeon said the operation to repair was so risky she thinks it is better for me try to adjust my lifestyle to minimize the torque on my back and perhaps I can avoid the operation. Sold the CCV and bought a Pink Taco. That was a mistake, the Pink Taco sounded good, but it did not work for me.
Tried the Kemper and after 6-7 gigs I am still sold and happy with it. Yesterday I took it to my local Music Go Round and we profiled a Diesel VH4. I never played through a Diesel before so I am not sure it was EQ'ed how I would EQ it, but we all were impressed that you could not tell the VH4 from the Kemper after I profiled it. The Kemper is not for everyone, it seems to be for me.
I hope it stays that way.
My current gear:
Kemper with wireless rack and the Mosvalve MV-962 and Tonewedge 1x12 with a Scumback M75 in it.
Tubeworks vertical 2x12 for gigs that do not have a decent pa.
My only amp, the BE-100. I do have 6 4x12 cabs, they are impossible to sell so I part out the speakers and use the cabs for other purposes. One is a storage container, one is a TV stand.
