I am done with telecasters.

Just sold my American Pro Tele yesterday, had 4 other various teles before that.

For a simple guitar, the three barrel saddle is an absolute shit-show to dial in anywhere near good.

Plinking/buzzing son-of-a whore! Mine needed nut/fret/and major fall away work to get action down.

Fuck em! If you enjoy playing these cork-soakers.....have at it!

PS.....G.A.S will kick in again, and i will forget the pains, and I will probably pick up a 6 saddle version in near future.....lol

Find an old mid 90's ash Tele with no belly cut and a regular wiring, with the 6 saddle

Top mounted Floyd's.
Most Strats.
Starting to avoid ESP's. They seem to look and feel cheaper, and cheaper.

SLO30.

VH4 for me. I've had several and I like them (and Peter) but eventually something about that amp just bugs me.

I thought I was the only one. I've been an ESP fan since I was a kid in the late '80s. The last few E-II's I bought felt like Epiphones. Toys.
Yeah that cheap-ass looking white binding ruins it for me. I last bought an '87 Custom Horizon and it felt cheap AF, and looked like a Chinese knock-off. And their necks are narrow and skinny. None have any beef, or wide necks. Like a toothpick.

Just grab a squire tele if you need one and be done with it . The squire Teles are fucking amazing lol fr
Actually I have had a few Squire versions as well, and, no BS: they were more comfy than the guitars that cost 10x as much!

( *-once I replaced the nut, did fret job, glued loose frets, and set it up)

I have an American Pro but mine has a Wilkinson compensated 3 barrel bridge and Texas Specials. I fuckin love that guitar.

It used to be Les Pauls but now I love them. Used to be fuzzes but now I love those, too.

I haven’t been able to find a uni vibe I can get sounding as thick and swirly as the ones I hear and love on albums, I’ve got a Dry Bell Vibe Machine 2 and that gets close, but I think I’ll need to step it up to something more corksniffy before I get what I’m looking for.

Conventional strats. I don't like the pickups, the bridge, the lack of tuning stability with trem use, the neck geometry without much larger frets, really any of it.

I use a PRS EG2 with Fralin dominoes and a jumbo stainless refret anytime a "strat" is required.
