Gene Simmons's Family Jewels, why?

I mean the Ozzy show was hilarious but the Gene Simmons show, I dunno man.

The dude is a legend and all, but why the tv show? He doesn't need money, so I assume he does it for fun. And everything looks terribly staged. Shannon Tweed had too much botox injections.
 
I didn't think Ozzy's show was funny at all. It made Ozzy look like a pathetic, helpless old man.

Never been a fan of Kiss but I think Gene's show is funny as hell. I love his attitude!
 
I dig Gene's show too...even if the whole thing is staged.
 
I would totally tax his daughter , when she turns 18 of course.
 
Well, I loved Ozzy's show.

Simmons has the attitude, I have to give you that. I dunno, maybe it's because I grew up listening to Black Sabbath and then Ozzy solo. Never been a big fan of Kiss. I dunno, Ozzy is a big star and he doesn't seem to give a shit about it, and I like that.

I remember couple of years ago I was at Ozzy's show here in Montreal, and the guy couldn't remember where he was, he asked the crowd if it was Vancouver or Toronto! It was hilarious! And he did a 3 hours show, I just thought it was unbelievable.
 
For some reason..I really like the Gene show....Kinda shows he doesn't take himself too seriously and everything is done in a "nudge,nudge,wink,wink" sorta way...Rock on Gene!!
 
I cant stand to look at that dudes hair. You'd figure with all that cash he'd do something a little less...uhmmm... embarrassing :aww: :confused:
 
Kiss and Gene both suck ass. End of story. I could care less if a few nimrods think they were icons. They sucked, always have and always will. And Gene is the king of all douche bags.
 
I dunno, as opposed to watching Ozzy's annoying ass kids and dogs running around shitting all over the place I'd rather watch Gene Simmons

Ozzy's show seemed far more like a realistic view into his world, which I found really interesting.
Gene's show seems like a completely staged show faking as a reality show. (B.O.R.I.N.G.)

Reality shows suck PERIOD! I get enough reality at work and at home. Creative minds in entertainment are drying up and it's a shame. Either that or this country is nothing but a giant jar of pickled brains. :thumbsdown:

I thought Ozzy's show was one of the most pathetic cash-grabs that I've ever seen. He lost all "metal-cred" (if that's worth anything) and made himself look like an old, stammering fool. I doubt that he would have ever done anything like that without his classless pig of a manager/wife pulling the strings.

Gene's show offers a bit more humor IMO...and we all know that Gene is all about the pathetic cash-grab ;)
