Hello,
I experienced a terrible latency, even when putting the buffer at 0.3 ms on my audio interface in the GENOME settings standalone app.
After some tinkering, i figured out why so i just want to share the knowledge.
It was a third party app, overwriting my audio settings so the buffer change i was doing was not being applied...
App i'm talking about is SoundSource from Rogue Amobea, a classic mac only, audio app.
Adding Genome to the exclusion list of apps solved it, the Genome app settings all of sudden was applied and latency disappeared.
