I just can't get into some of his stuff these days because he sounds like he's fighting his amps so much. Not enough gain IMO

A Marsha with HBE should have a ton of gain. Maybe his was set to the BE? Gotta love Steel Panther though! They get all these cool guest singers and musicians to play along! Makes me miss the 80's!
