Gee, the timing sure is convenient.
Ir you came here illegally you violated the law, so, no.Interesting question. Undocumented immigrants account for billions of dollars in tax revenue; if you pay taxes should you be able to vote?
I imagine that accounts for most of the undocumented immigrants who don’t pay taxes lolIr you came here illegally you violated the law, so, no.

My 0.02... if I go to a foreign country, while I am there, i am paying whatever taxes on goods & services. I have zero problem with that.
However- I entered legally, and do not expect them to change their language to accommodate me, give me a free phone or other services, nor do I have any reasonable expectation of being to vote, even if I was there for several years (for work or whatever)
Scott - I'm sure you have a unique perspective on this - with your relocation. Are you becoming a citizen or able to vote? Legit question, not picking on you as I respect you - it's just you are in a VERY unusual situation, as you are a "reverse" migrant of sorts.
I cannot vote and I try to speak the language. There are many cultural differences and in every case, I try to assimilate to those cultural differencesMy 0.02... if I go to a foreign country, while I am there, i am paying whatever taxes on goods & services. I have zero problem with that.

They are undocumented . They work under see the table. Both them and the shitty employers circumvent the the income tax system. They also pay federal taxes. Quite a bit too
I hear ya.. my mantra has always been - just do it legally & follow the fking law.I think what some people fail to understand, or choose to ignore, is that “undocumented immigrant” is a pretty huge umbrella. It’s trendy right now to talk about the “refugees” and all that, but just a few years ago the mantra was “they are taking our jobs!”. And guess what people who have jobs are paying into?

That's why the deep state created that word, because it's ambiguous. Just more spin and propaganda.Undocumented does not always mean illegal
