Thanks for the links. My old stomping grounds from way back when. I managed Forbidden for a while back then and used to see Metallica at a pizza place called Ruthie's Inn in Bezerkeley. It was very much a fraternity too. You could go to one party and hang with guys from Testament, Exodus, Death Angel, Forbidden, Havoc, Vio-lence, etc... Good times.

Really! That is awesome. I myspace messaged Tim Calvert recently (and after the HUGE INFLUENCE fan boy intro) to ask him if he is bored, would he like to write a solo for a track on an album I am recording.

He got back to me. He said he would give it a listen when he get the net installed as he is moving. He said he was at Fartbucks on their wifi. haha

Their new material is bad ass. They are on tour soon with Overkill so I am really looking forward to seeing them for the first time.

Cool. Dave Linsk of Overkill is a great bloke. I went with him to NAMM in Jan as he lives near me and I used to rehearse at his studio. TOTAL gear head/whore. We go out and get blasted as we are both UFC fans once a month. I just traded a Roland jc120 with him a couple of days ago for 6 pedals.

I've never seen this all the way through. Thanks a ton!

You don't know how wide I'm smiling right now. :rawk: :rawk:

Thanks man!!

That is totally my roots on growing up.

Havent heard some of that stuff in years!

Tim's a great guy. Just missed him when I was in SLO a couple of weeks ago. He doesn't play much these days except a little around the house. Lost everything in a house fire a few years ago and he's down to one or two guitars and a combo. Monster player! There was some bad blood when he left to join Nevermore, but it was the right move. Now he's a commercial pilot. Tell him I said "hi".

I remember getting into Nevermore years ago on the sole reason that he joined them.

Trust me I know. I've watched it 4 times in 2 days

Saving the links for later this weekend. Watched the first 6 minutes and sounds very very interesting. Damn, seeing all those bands' names brought back some good ol' memories from those days.

Watched this on my laptop in the Emriates Business Class loungue in Dubai getting ripped on free beer. I had been in Iraq for 7 months and was burnt out and headed for home and it really was fucking awesome....really took me back back to the daze....this guys other documentaries are great as well.

Awesome. Good times and a lot of memories even though I'm from Sweden. ;)
