Getting the most out of your tube amp.

Without modifications what are things anyone can bring to a tech for servicing?

I read about people replacing caps/resistors only I have no idea what those are because im an electrical noob.

Caps and resistors are key components. Older amps tend to need caps replaced now and then. Much like tubes but more advanced knowledge to replace as soldering is required. Tubes and biasing of course. PT or OT and even choke replacement. Tube socket tightening and replacement. I guess if you really are not technically inclined fuses and indicator lamps.
