Great-sounding, great-playing guitar I recently picked up in a trade. Only reason I’m letting it go is because I already have something really similar and don’t need both.
It’s loaded with an EMG 81 in the bridge and an 85 in the neck. The electronics have been simplified—pots and switch were removed, and it’s hardwired to the bridge. The neck pickup is fully functional, just not currently connected. I had planned to rewire it, but I almost always use the bridge anyway.
This was my first time trying the 24V EMG mod, and I was honestly impressed. It brings back a lot of the dynamics and feel that EMGs tend to flatten out. Made them feel a lot more responsive—closer to passives in a good way. I liked it enough that I added the 24V mod to my other EMG guitars too.
Also has strap locks installed. Comes with a hardshell case.
Price: $1000 shipped (lower 48)
