Gig today!

I had a gig today. My friend asked me to play for his church thing they were doin tonight. IT was outside so it was cool! got to use my 5150iii for the first time outside. MAN! let me tell you! the amp is a whole new amp to me now. I never new how amazing it was. Here are some pics and a video from practice is comin later!

Hell yeah man! Isn't nice to "open" your amp up? They become completely different beasts at volume. :rock: I live for that sound.
 
thats awesome dude .... seeing your pics makes me wish i had gotten a black 5150 III . i thought the white (ivory) was kool at first but it has quickly faded away, and now i wish i had settled for a black one :rock:

the amp just sounded great! I usually am not happy with how im sounding but today was great. so happy with the sound. I've been having noise problems and it was nice to have no noise today. first gig with my lava cable kit for my pedals. very quiet cables.
 
Yep, I have a shit ton of cash in cables. Never skimp on cables. Causes so many problems with cheap cables.
 
true that! just got a 20ft mogami cable to use from amp to pedal board. worked great today!

From what I see the master of Ch3 is on 8 o'clock. I don't think you hear that power stage breaking up at that volume. :lol: :LOL:

Anyways, I am happy for you kids to being able to afford decent gear these days. When I was young we only had shitty stuff. Looking good there btw. Nice Paul! :thumbsup:
 
man, you are killing me. I've been fighting off the urge to get a 5153. I have both of the earlier incarnations of his amps and still love them. must resist....GAS.......
