Some video from last weekend’s show. A deep cut off the No Rest For the Wicked album Fire in the Sky. AX8 direct to FOH.

Man that was awesome! That is my favorite Ozzy record (I'm in the minority I know). You nailed the solo too. The only thing missing (or not clear) was the wah, but otherwise, the sound the tone, right there. Your singer is great too.

That was great. Sounded really good.

I would have been a show off and threw out all kinds of licks during the breakdown. lol

AX8 sounds great.. all this digital shit is closing the gap (especially for people live who can't tell the difference)

I've always loved that song! Sounds great brother!

That sounded really good. Playing was right in the pocket too!

Sounds great. Is that a stereo chorus on there? Do you place it before or after the amp?

The gap is about closed as far as recording and getting good tones, the only thing is that "amp in the room" sound and feel. As far as effects goes I've sold most mine off as the AX8 does a great job. There's a few that aren't perfect, I've noticed it doesn't track as well as the digitech whammy for the 1 or 2 octave thing.

It’s pitch detune ala EVH’s settings similar to the Balance album. +9, -9 mix to taste. It’s in the amp sims fx loop.

The amp in the room feel is the big struggle. Having the right setup for you is big. Some guys prefer power amp and cabinet. I use two XiTone powered 1x12 FRFR cabs in stereo. One behind me and the other by my bass players rig behind the stage scrims. I’ve got it dialed in to where it sounds killer to me onstage. Just like my real EVH amp and cab. Here is a clip close to the stage where you can hear more of the stage sound as an example. Little distorted but you get the idea.

Sounds great man. I really love this song and nobody plays it. Great job

I'll be honest I didn't read the post carefully before I listened. Halfway through I said this has to be ozzy back in the early nineties because he sounds to good. Then of course I look back and realize it's your band. Holy shit man. Killer.

Sounds great, looks like a fun show, thanks for sharing

Sounds heavy. Only weird thing with the digital, sounds like it wanted to feedback after the solo part but couldn't
naturally do it. Cool tone though.

Thank you for the kind words brother!
