I searched and there doesnt seem to be a whole lot on here for this swiss army knife of a pedal switcher.

I have been GASing for one of these or something like it (if there is anything) for a while now.

It has so many different functions it's the insane. Any insight on this or is there something else like it that you guys prefer?

I went with the Boss ES-8

Since posting I have been on a browse and came across the ES-8 and the RJM Mastermind.

The G2 seems like it has some nicer components (maybe) and probably has the typical pros/cons vs the ES-8.. I REALLY like how you can adjust the pre and post gain adjust-ability per preset/loop..

looks like the es-8 can change the order of the signal per preset. Assuming you can use it to change channels on TRS cables, but you can't use it for crazy switching abilities for something like a Mesa Mark V?

For the money, i'm starting to realize the ES-8 is almost a no-brainer

Ok bare with me here... with the ES-8 using 2 amps

Would I be able to:

A: switch between the two
B: be able to switch channels on either amp, or both when desired
C: Be able to go from one amps dirty channel, to hitting one switch that changes both amps to clean, using a stereo reverb before the amps
D: Using a one amps effects loop into the BigSky to split to the return of both amps for a bitchin stereo sound

I have used a Wet/Dry set up before so these concepts are always in the back of my mind. I don't see the point of wiring up two amps unless I can have control of how I want to utilize them with something like the ES-8

I would read the manual online and see if its a fit for you. :student:

or check out this cool page too:

there is also a great FB group with a lot of helpful folks.

yeah good point. I like to run before I crawl sometimes. I have already saved alot of money as the ES-8 is half the price of the GigRig
