I have played a few gj2 guitars. They are ok.

I grabbed one of the GJ2 inspiration shredder..designed and maybe inspected per GJ. Basswood, gibson scale. Really wanted it for the gibson scale. Has a floyd and factory humbucker pickups. Sounds good and plays as easily as one would expect, very comfortable C shaped neck that was plecked, unfinished maple with RW board. I dont play it much , was for a project that didnt evolve so it sits. The USA made ones I feel safe to say are going to be even better. Just not much of a floyd guy anymore and I just dont bond with basswood that much. Hope this helps, Happy Hunting

I owned a couple USA models. Nice guitars, well put together, sounded good, but nothing "special" about them. Kinda had that mass-produced, sterile, CNC'd feel - a bit on the uninspiring side of the fence.
