I recently picked up a Hellhound GJ2 off Wes at Rebel Guitars..this is Grovers new company I haven't seen many post or threads on here about it... But I got to say the guitar has an Amazing feel and build quality especially for the price point!! The Hellhound is a double humbucker tele style axe and the neck is a dream!! Check em' out!!! Sorry I'm the older non computer guy so no pics:( but check out thier website or see them on Rebel Guitars

Ive played a bunch of GJ2 guitars. My favorite was called the "spirit of 79'". Essentially it was a relic'd EVH guitar w/o the paintjob. It played and sounded fantastic. The other Glendora's I played were ok, but not better or worse than a Charvel San Dimas. I'm not a fan of the basswood bodies. The in-house pickups are not good for any kind of aggressive rock. IMO, They sound dull. The fretboards aren't nearly as rounded as a charvel pro mod. The Arete's neck feels weird. I didn't like it one bit. The paint work on it was sloppy I think it was a neon green 5 star arate' that I played. The ruberized spaceship knobs are cool. The guitars are way overpriced and should cost 2/3rds of their actual price.

I picked up a Glendora a few months ago. It is a great playing guitar. I agree about the pups. Will eventually
swap the bridge pickup. I still seem to gravitate to my Charvels more. I would say it is the best under $500 gear
purchase I've ever made :D Looks like this one. Not my pic.

I've seen the Glendoras go really cheap - I guess it's tough to establish a new brand. I've not been able to try one (it's buy before you try most of the time for me), but my go-to store who I trust totally told me they were nothing special which was disappointing.

maybe i got lucky! but the pickups on mine sound great.. although most axes sound great through a SS100...
