well, Iran is in the neighborhood of the Straits of Hormuz. Funny how territorial waters become "international" waters whenever the US decides it's in our vital interest? Arrogance? Hubris? Disdain?

It's why the US goes around the world, usually unilaterally or with our sock puppets from Europe / Asia / South America, with sanctions, bombings, invasions, occupations, regime changes with impunity.

Why does the US think it has the right to impose itself on the internal affairs of other sovereign nations?

BRICS is in large part a response to the continued US / European western colonial imperial behavior.
