Anthem to the Welkin at dusk is one of my favorite record... it's just so badass.

I dig Ihsahn's solo work.. but not so much the guitar tones.. gimme headache after a while

Emperor kicks ass! Didn't they use a peavey butcher or something to record welkin? I know they used some low budget amp but i can't remember what it was. Its a great sounding album.

Nightside Eclipse is one of the most important albums in my life. It's just so full of magic. It's more than the sum of its parts.

Check out also Live At Wacken Open Air 2006 DVD. Makes the previous DVD (awfully lacking in the vibe department) obsolete. And the tab book Scattered Ashes is also a nice thing to have, although it kinda takes away some of the mystique of the songs.
