I ordered my Friedman Little Sister Combo and received it the beginning of February 2025 and it quickly became my favorite amp I have ever owned.
Soon after I ordered a Friedman Pink Taco V2 Head with matching 1x12 cab and soon after that a Friedman JEL-20 with matching 1x12 cab.

I really like the portability of the separate 22lbs Head and 26lb cab compared to one large 50+ pound combo.
Another advantage is since I have a vacation home, I can leave a Head and 1x12 cab there, but if I am in a different mood, I can always just bring another Head back and forth easily.

With that said I just bought a used Friedman Vintage Closed Back 1x12 for a great price and it is being shipped as we speak.
Now I am on the hunt for a Friedman Little Sister Head either used or new.
I don't need to sell the Little Sister Combo, but I don't think it makes sense to have both.

My only hesitation was I know I love the sound of the Open Back Combo, but I am going to a Closed Back cabinet.
Luckily I found this video and I think it sounds pretty good.
Oh well, the plan is in motion and I hope to replace my combo with a Head shortly.

Yeah I'm thinking of getting an Orange Gain Baby 100 and using two 1x12s instead of my Orange Super Crush 100. Definitely isn't as heavy as yours but same idea about being able to take one part, etc.

Definitely easier to haul separate pieces.
I used to only like combos, you get more bang for your buck, but as I am getting older, convenience is worth paying a little more.

I ended up scoring a great deal on a used Friedman Little Sister Head and Friedman Vintage 1x12 cab, let the fun begin
