My expectations are high, although I know I won't see anything like this:

 what an amazing player!
give me your best DS live performance :D

Seen him with DS and several times with his solo band. Always an awesome show. I think last time in warner theatre Washington DC he hurt his back that day and got some shots so he could play. He told sat on a stool the entire night but still jam’d. He never disappoints.

Have a great time

Hey, is that the rhythm guitar player George, he knows all the chords he's doing alright, he has a daytime job?

One of the greats. I’d go see him anytime. Talk about a player that just understands this guitar thing.

I´ve seen him a few times over the last fifteen years or so, always a master class in pure musicianship from him and the whole band. The A night in London live tape from the mid 90s is pretty indicative of how the shows still are, minus the string quartet and plus 20 years of additional songs.

So, it was a very good show and I am happy I saw him live. I felt very nostalgic during the whole thing though. You could clearly see the man is almost 70. He looked older in person than on the latest youtube vids...
Nevertheless he delivered. Tone for lightyears, the chops are still there (although you could hear some weakness during improvisations). Very tight band. They played Money For Nothing, which I didn't expect - sounded really great. And Brothers in Arms, which is always mesmerizing. Another unexpected and very cool one was Once Upon A Time In The West.
I don't know if this is officially his last tour, but it looked quite like it.

Yeah, you can tell the playing doesn´t come quite as easy as it used to. When I saw him last at an outdoor show he was constantly complaining and apologizing about how cold his hands were, even after an hour of playing.
