CEG85 Active member May 18, 2023 #2 Depends on your plate voltage and what bias points your set of KT88’s are set too. Tubes cannot be biased when only set to standby.

Chubbs Well-known member May 18, 2023 #4 You either need a 1ohm resistor tied from pins 1 and 8 to ground to read the current or a bias tool which will allow you to do the same. With that and your plate voltage (pin 3) you’ll be able to set it if I understood you correctly.
