This amp sounds phenomenal to me. Maybe just the mood I'm in today but this tone is everything I would want in a Marshall sound. The notes are fat and chords spread out but remain clear and focused.

Sounds great !! Nice clarity and string definition...What Boss Delay is that in the loop? My DD3 does not like the loop and need to buy something else...

That does sound good. Sounds like a tele with a beefy pickup or a LP with low output pickups. Nice and dynamic.

I had one..a lead mod. Sounded great, very articulate like a Cameron Aldrich but needed a little mid bump with an EQ pedal to tighten it up. That was the second best modded Marshall I've had. Great amp.

Was the Cameron the best?

I've owned both and the Golub is no Cameron.
Mark does The Best Marshall Mods out there Period. What's better? The other ones I owned or played were generic

To me yes. I've had a bunch like everyone else lol...Friedman, Golub, Fortin/Gower, Voodoo, Lee Jackson, FJA...maybe a few more that escape me and IMO the Cameron modded Marshalls are the best. The Golub was really good but needed a boost to tighten. I won't compare the BE to the CCV because I haven't been lucky enough to own one of those but as far as modded Marshalls go it's Camerons first and every other modded marshall second..IMO of course.

I should also add that those other modded Marshalls I've owned were all REALLY good as well..the Camerons were just better to me. You get great tones from those others as well. If only I could have kept them all....

Sounded pretty good to me. What did he do to the amp?
