They may be cheaper, but when I sell them they are fully tested. I heat them up for 15-20 minutes so they are at proper temperatures and test them each for transconductance as well as gain. This takes time and effort. Hence why I charge around $20 a piece. I have 100’s of them. Just food for thought. :thumbsup:

I got some bum power tubes from a similar guy on ebay (lesliehammtech?) and it's a pain to deal with. buy one, cry once I say...
 
....and I've bought 40 direct from China, and they all sound stellar. From 6-8 bucks a tube. The only one that failed was a red print 12ax7b, one out of 3. The rest have been great..the military 6N4. Not sure if you can still get them direct now, but stocked up over the past few yrs.
 
Get bad tubes from dealer, return and get refund.

Last time that happened to me I ended up with 8 good tubes for free. People can pay what they want but id rather save $5 -$15 a pop
 
What's so good about these? Are they old?

I’ve bought several of those quads of EHX el34 from him. They are 100% legit and have been matched within 1-2 ma for the whole set. Whoever spends $80+ for the same tubes is just throwing money away. This guy has a good rep.
 
Perfect timing for me, I'm buying tubes for my Boogie Strategy 400, 12 power, 4 pre amp tubes. :thumbsup: I paid $426.00 for the amp and it came with a quad of Mesa 415 power tubes that tested 80% on my tube tester.

I buy from here all the time. I even bought a set of the $36 EL34s. because I just had to see if they were decent at all for that cheap, and they're just fine. Sound great in my XXX.

I have zero problems with nesstone.com

I just received 10 of the 12Ax7s, 5 JJs and 2 quads of the EH el34s. They sound great. The EL34 have the tightest match of any quad I’ve bought over the years

Great to hear... Yes, his power tubes are very tightly matched. Unbeatable deal for EHX el34
 
I stumbled across Ness the other night looking for 12AT7s. Ordered some, good communication and fast shipping. I expect a pair of 12ax7As and 12At7s for my Fryette 2100.
 
NOS pre amp tube are hit or miss to me.
I have better result using the Gold Lion ones.

Same time as everything else - when they stop making them.

They are great tubes in a lot of circuits. And a lot of Mesas, Bogners etc...used 8th gen Chinese tubes as OEM.
