Anyone familiar with the nk1 Steavens Poundcake? To me at least, the clips of the mk2 and mk3 seem to sound better. But, that could be that the few clips I’ve found so far were pretty low budge. The only decently recorded clip is the chop tones included with the reverb post.

It’s $1660, which is about what they usually go for if you check reverb past sales, but recently the prices of everything have gone way up.

I would give my left testicle for one, but i'm not in a financial position to do it. -_-

I haven't played on but the video in the listing sounds killer

I had the updated version of the MK-I 100w(4 channels instead of 3) for a little over 10 years. Sold it in 2017 to Mike Fortin. Double regret... for selling the amp and for having to deal with Mike.
Great sounding amps and very advanced for when it was released.
Here is mine on one of the amp get together that I used to host back in Brazil between 2012 and 2016.
Just the guitar plugged straight into the amp and a Harry Joyce 4x12 with V30.
There is also a 7 string at around 10:00 mark.

The 50w imho didnt sound as nice as the 100w. Had a chance to try one some years ago, about 1200€, didn't like it as much as my friend 100w pound cake mk1

Now another is posted for 3500! Hahaha. Only 2000 more than they
Normally sell for.

The thunderstruck sounds epic. There was one on reverb around 8 months ago for about 1500 or 1600!!!!!!
That’s insane! Wish I would have seen that one , seems right up my alley for metal stuff . Not sure how much gain the pound cake mki has but the clips still sounded stellar

Not a pound cake but this clip I stumbled upon going down the rabbit hole sounds killer !
