Good drummers are so hard to find

True. A lot of metal and rock drummers seem to have no idea what a rimshot is.

It always amazes me when I have to explain to drummers that every punk and metal record they listen to is constant rimshots on the snare, and they had no idea -_-

video is fine, i think its part of the novelty that its a little asian girl or something. In my 5th grade jazz class/band there were like 6 drummers who could do this.

Unfortunately, its impossible to find a drummer that will actually play in a band with anyone. That's why every drummer is in like 34 local bands.

That's mindboggling not knowing what a rimshot is.
There's a very specific sound to that.
Where I hit the drums is much like a preamp EQ.
Sometimes those rimshots f*** it all up
so get a feel for that beaver!!!
What's CRAZY is how many seasoned/talented drummers do not know how to tune their drum set.
It's always "There's an art to it".
How about this?.."go over there and sit in a
normal chair while I sit on the throne and
show you how it's done..without all these
rows of tom's & tom's....blah".
So get turning that wrench Beavis!
I learned by untuning everything and burning
the midnight oil to get it right & tight.
Grindcore it.

She's a 28 year RN so we figured it out.
Sucks for me?
There's no figuring or 'fingering' out, that I'm gonna have to take this like a beast of a man.
She enjoys scrubbing wounds and gettin' into
it and we all know without super drugs..,
F'n pain awaits for me and the healing component while playing any other instruments will take mucho' patience & intuitiviity' of my 'fingerings'....THE BENDS.
It sucks real bad but kinda rad depending how you look at it.

I love when the drummer thinks his drums are in tune but once you place a mic on it live every tom sounds like bow-wow-wow-wow ?
