I've said "To Hell with it" and decided to create a Rig with my old Roland GP8. I'll be playing through a PEV13-3601610. Very clean clear Amp. The Roland has a slight hum or noise as anyone who's ever played on one knows. I want a rack mount noise gate just to kill that little bit of noise. There's no way I can afford a ISP decimater rack mount. I just don't have $400+ dollars. Is there anything else that will work fine for what I'm running? That won't affect the tone of the GP8? Would an old HUSH unit work? I'm open for a used old model of anything if anyone knows of one that will work or anything in the $200 range.

I have sworn by Rocktron iiCX rack mount units for 20 years. Easy to find and cheap (Used in good shape 50.00-75.00 on Ebay). One of the few that actually lets the sound of your rig come through and shuts up the noise floor. Variable attack and release.
