GoPro3 vs iPad/iPhone...

Hey all, trying to get some intel here on best way to capture vid for demos. I have tripod stands for my iPad and iPhone. They seem to capture 720p just fine but was wondering if the GoPro 3 is a better camera. Found a pretty good deal on one but the back connector for peripherals like an additional screen or battery does not work.

I have ZERO experience with the GoPro but like I said, the price is great.

Also looking at the Zoom Q4 if the GoPro doesn't work out. Not sure the $300 for the Zoom is that much better than using what I already have and only considering the GoPro because of the price.

Don't buy used electronics.
If you want the GoPro look with the iPhone. Buy an OlioClip

I actually just want to know if the video quality itself is that much better on the GoPro. The more I think about it, I get concerned that there will always be a "fish eye" thing that might get annoying with the GoPro.
