Super stoked for this. I got my Strike Pro a year and a half ago. Loved it, BUT it had the old plastic trigger modules as well as the bothersome dual pad hi-hat. The rack was a bit janky as well! LOL! A bud bought it from me for more than I paid for it (and was aware of the few issues with it), so moved to this guy!

Heading home now to set it up! LOL! At least it fit in the car!

I need one of these shits. I fucking hate programming drums with a mouse, and finger drumming complex patterns on my Maschine isn't a whole hell of a lot better

Yeah man, even if you're not a great drummer, get a beat in there, then tweak in the DAW. Simple.

i tried one of these at sam ash and it was so fun. if i had any room left in my place to put it i would buy one

I went through the nightmare of converting my acoustic to E drum.. still not finished lol. Have shit sitting in packages prob won't get to it until months from now. Shoulda just bought one of these guys. Once again, Jer making the smart grown up decision. I applaud you sir!

Also yes, beats on a mouse sucks balls, no life, too much grid. If we are all going samples, at least play the beat!

That's my prob too....not enough room for a full e-kit lol. I guess I need to check around to see if miniature club-style e-kits exist.

I owned a badass full Tama Superstar kit back in the day and actually became a semi-decent player at the time; I need to get back in to it.

Yeah space is an issue. I have the kit in the garage. Thankfully it’s well insulated.

when the casita is built I’ll definitely have an acoustic kit.

was the primary reason i tried to convert my Tama ..space. I have a small gym that needs space too, and guitars and amps etc.. then kid's stuff and all my wife's boxes that she just needs to keep forever because they are SOOOO important.

Yeah I hear you! We made our master BR closet our home gym. We were able to get an incline, regular bench and squat rack in there.

How big was that master closet?! did you fit a small shower in there too? :P

yeah a few of the little club kits i might be able to fit in a corner, im sure they must make some kind of mesh head with a trigger built on that would work

I'm triggering my Tama superstar with mesh heads and top trigger. The hot spot is closer to the edge where the trigger is. The key will be a smaller diameter real drum with a mesh head so that you minimize distance from the side. Or if a crappy little kit and you don't care, permanently get triggers on the underside. Anything e drum though, hot spots so you need to play with settings. The 22 bass drum has been my greatest challenge because i like a low tension head for burying the beater but works best hightension and no bury. Might make me a better drummer but burying makes you feel more Tommy Lee.
