As much as i like my painkiller's im gonna give the suhr's a try. If I dig em ill probably have some BK's for sale. The Bones is so fucking tight that im hoping the suhr's we be a little rounder, perhaps fuller than the BK's.

I have an Aldrich set in my Explorer, and love the way it sounds. Well rounded, but fierce when you need it to be.

Everytime I even think about putting a new pickup in my Les Paul, I listen to my Suhr Aldrich and change my mind. :) It is heavy and vintage at the same time. Just a great, versatile pickup.

How do you explorer guys feel about the Aldrich vs. the 500T?

in an Explorer i'd take the 500 over the Aldrich for most amps.

for Devilinside, i know the Aldrich is really good with the Bones, so he may be on to something.

I love the 500t in my lp , has anyone tried the gibson dirty fingers and how would it compare to the 500t or the aldrich? Lookin for a new bridge hb for my lp custom as the stock shaw paf doesnt quite have enough balls.

I wonder how a Suhr Doug Aldrich humbucker would go in the bridge position of a Fender Fat Strat?

Yeah its kinda weird, I put the 500T in my les Paul and found myself thinking the 500 had some kinda singing quality over the BK but was not as clear as the BK, so I'm hoping the suhr's will be the answer.
The PK's are awesome for hyper speed metal applications I guess I'm just wanting to inject a touch of vintage back into my tone. My setup is already tight and very articulate so I think I may be overdoing it.
