New G&L Rampage Jerry Cantrell Signature came today. My kind of guitar....stripped down to the bare bones. One pickup, one volume knob. This is the first Kahler trem guitar I have owned. Not bad either. Anyway, the baby puke cream color guitar plays awesome. The pick-up is wound really bright too. It shouldn't have any problem cutting through anything as it is quite responsive to pick attack. The satin finish on the neck is great too....and speedy!

Those are rare. Good find....

Awesome, I really want one of these. Would like to grab an old superhawk. Missed out on one last week.

So is that a American version? Jerry use's a motor city afwayu pickup [ the new wind] Also you might want to change the pot to something else because the cts pot used is a bit weird sounding and bright. This comes from Jerry's tech

Dave,

Yes, its the US Signature model (not the Tribute). Tell Punk Rock Dave thanks for the heads up on the pot and PU. It is the brightest I have heard, which is the first thing I noticed. I had to grab a handful of presence and treble on the Wizard and calm this thing down right off the bat!

KILLER AXE bro, Jerry was a buddy of mine and I played on the original a few times. BADASS man!

This is the expensive version or the $600 one?

The American one...expensive one.

SK

Did you have a chance to compare it to the cheaper Tribute model?

No, I didn't. The American one though is a gem to play. Well balanced. Holds tune well and the Kahler tremelo is awesome. I don't even use the whammy bar, just rock with the palm a little when needed and there is a lot of adjustment in the fine tuners. The satin finish on the neck is a plus. I did snatch the stock SD out and put in a Motor City Afwayu and changed the volume pot out to a 500K. It is very bright otherwise.

I played the cheaper one at a local shop. Thought it could use a new PU but other than that it felt real solid and a good bang for the you know what. HNGD!
