That's great! They can be had for so cheap. Great bang for your buck guitars

Wasn't that cheap. More than a used Korean or Indonesian LTD I can say, but at least they come with a case. I probably paid too much, but I wanted it!

That IS sexy!

Looks a lot like my MIK Schecter. Enjoy mate.

Let´s see, were the LTD Elites the ones where ESP decided to mess up their marketing and rebrand the ESP Standard line for no apparent reason? Or am I thinking of the E-II line? Or were they both the Standard line in disguise at some point?

Sharp looking guitar, in any case, congrats!

Yeah pretty sure the LTD ELITE became the E-II’s.

Great looking guitar in the OP.

The dudes on one of the ESP groups I’m on say they’re EII / Standard Series and quality guitars. Per official ESP stuff the EII Series is the rebrand of the Standard Series. LTD Elite popped up around the time of that rebrand but they flopped hard and discontinued the line. People that buy LTD’s thought they were too expensive, people that buy ESP’s didn’t like that they said LTD on the headstock and said they were lower quality. Due to this resale value is pretty bad on them

The one I’ve actually played on was at the same level as a standard series.

This.. They were LTD Elite before becoming E-II. The one I bought was made in Japan. I believe they were about $1500 new.

Yep, the original price sounds right. I did some googling and came across some people complaining about spending $1500 on LTD elites and getting like $650 when they went to sell

I thought about trying Fishmans. I don't know what's involved... I also wanted to try the EMG 57/66's. Read good things about them.

Agreed on the Fluences if you like EMG’s. My favorite set is the KSE version, but the Modern and Abasi Set are also great choices and maybe more versatile. Didn’t like as much the Devin, Merrrow or Carpenter sets though

Hot ESP! I really like the 57/66 set in my USA Horizon. If you like the vibe of passive pickups, you’d love ‘em.

I like the 57/66 set as well but damn are they hard to find used at a reasonable price in the flat black finish.

I also really like the fishmans too but you’re kinda priced into buying the rechargeable pack setup otherwise you’ll be swapping batteries too frequently
