Grady joins Pantera camp, again.

Since this is happening regardless of what anyone thinks about it, I thought this was pretty cool.

Rita opens the Dime vault for Zakk and Grady is invited to assist in getting as close to the Dime tone as they can.

Before most others remaining in the Pantera camp, Grady’s sign off on this is bigger to me than the others. That dude has remained so faithful to Dime and his memory over the years. There was a frustrating period for a while where no matter which group he’d join in, he’d have some fucktard telling him he didn’t know what he was talking about in regards to Dime’s rig. That dude put up with a lot of shit just to answer some fan questions occasionally.

I wouldn’t be surprised to see him side stage manning the actual rig during the show like he did with Dime. Suppose it depends on how they dial the rig in, but if they do it like they did in the Pantera days, someone will have to be there working the gate/delay/amp switching during the set. He might not be touching the guitars but wouldn’t be surprised to see him at the rig at all.

And hell, if someone offered me the chance to go out on the road with a bunch of my friends, celebrating one of my best friend’s music, I‘d have a hard time saying no.

Grady will be in charge of effects. His post on Instagram says that is the plan for now.

I know people that know Grady that thought he might actually be the guy to replace dime in those few days before we knew anything, that to me would have been way cooler than zakk. I guess it’s cool he will be stepping on the delay pedal though The whole thing is just lame to me
