Just need some advice. I don't usually retube amps myself. This amp came with some chinese tubes and I wondered if I have to have a matched quartet or could I get away with buying matched duets EL84?

I believe your amp has TSC which is their tube monitoring function, and it allows you to throw in new power tubes without biasing. You would think it would be better to just use a matched quad, but I think the TSC deal regulates whatever bias setting for you. However, I'd suggest checking the manual when you replace the tubes because there are some indicator lights that blink in various ways to indicate different things. As long as your tubes are good, you shouldn't have anything to worry about.
