wow, they lost their value.

Honestly I never liked any of the Mojaves. I've tried almost all their models except the Dirty Boy. They're one of the many boutique makers that have an overly polished/neutered take on the Marshall sound. Last time I tried a Mojave, it was at Tone Merchants (about 4 years ago) and the Friedman BE in comparison sounded way better, more organic and less polished (as did the Atomica they had), even though at the time I still found the BE too polished for what I wanted. IMO they're not one of the better Marshall type amps out they're and I'm not surprised to see their resale value reflect that

ive heard many comments about people not being into mojaves, and that is cool by me. i'm not into the slo100 or vh4 which legions love.
i'm less a fan of the scorpion which billy gibbons and vivian campbell love and bought, or the sidewinder which blues saraceno liked the most and chose for himself while waiting for the dirty boy to materialize, so go figure.
i loved and bought the coyote first, which was frampton and e.j.s pick for it's vintage vibe. i bought it because i loved the cleans in it, and victor showed me that the brown sound was in it too as well as some vox character, and it was cheaper than the peacemaker.
then i bought the peacemaker because i had to have that big plexi tone.

i was in a very unique position to be able to hang out with victor and enjoy hearing his amps in person and receive flight instruction from the man himself. and i will say imo he was the very first one to truly crack the brown sound formula, and the day i rolled into his shop for the first time and heard his w/d rig in person it was the end of a lifetime pilgrimage.
