Jimmy Burkard (JiMB) is out with Sweet right now for 6 shows. Fortunately they were only 35 minutes away from my shop for last night's show. Since most shows are fly dates he has to use backline amps. So it was great to be able to bring him two of his MGL100 half stacks to play. Using a Metropoulos Head Master he used the purple head for rhythm and the orange head for solos. Whichever head was on, was going thru both 4x12 cabs loaded w/ vintage 25w Greenbacks. Both amps were set to the Vintage Dirty voicing for a more classic tone. Master volumes were in the 4 or little higher range so plenty of volume and air moving! We got there in the afternoon to setup and soundcheck. So a lot of fun hang time before the show at 8:00pm. Once he's back home next Sunday, we should have some video we can post. Until then, here's the rig from last night.
