I'm wanting to load my JCM800 4x12 with greenbacks to play along with my BE Modded 2204. Does anyone have a recommendation for me. Cost wise, the Chinese reissues are the way to go.

Should I break the bank for the UK made G12M Heritage? EVH? Scumbacks? Any ideas?

I've had the Heritage, EVH, and Scumback.
In my opinion, the Chinese G12m is the best. Regardless of cost.

Thanks. I used to have a 1960BX but thought the Chinese GB's sounded shrill with my DSL. I think it has more to do with the amp. Considering the BE mod is warmer and pushes harder, it should be a good mix.

Yea a good quad of broken in chinese greenies work great for fair money.

Yeah the Chinese ones. Need to break them in though.

Agree with all above. Chinese Greenbacks are really great speakers.

Very pleased with how the Chinese GB Reissues sound with the BE...

I have some England made Creambacks that sound killer with most my amps, including the BE100, but after hard demoing and talking to Dave, which convinced me into trying my BE100 with regular Greenbacks, I discovered (for me) nothing beats the Greenback RI with his amp.
