You should look more into Randall ISO Boxes before you buy though. I was looking for a ISO cab a few months ago, was about to pull the trigger on the Randall, then I read a bunch of bad reviews on it and it scared me away

Woah, that suprises me. Alex was nothing short of awesome when I bought my dead room from him...and I had a delay and all sorts of stuff go on in production

FWIW, I had the randall iso cab and it SUCKS compared to the Grendel.

The randall has no business being called an ISO box becuase it leaks the sound and is loud as hell. Id get kicked out of my condo if I cranked an amp through the randall without throwing a couple of blankets over it.
As far as the grendel is concerned, there are lots of guys who dig them(never tried it) But they are starting to get a bad rep on most of the boards now.
Im thinking the problem is growing pains in that they are getting swamped with orders and they don't have the resources to keep up, but I could be wrong.

As far as the grendel is concerned, there are lots of guys who dig them(never tried it) But they are starting to get a bad rep on most of the boards now.
Im thinking the problem is growing pains in that they are getting swamped with orders and they don't have the resources to keep up, but I could be wrong.

Alex is swamped right now as it's more or less him and a couple of part-timers helping him build the stuff. That's why he's stopped taking orders.

I'm not a big fan of the speakers that ship in them, as I did replace mine...that's my only complaint (other than the smell of the glue from the carpet...I was HIGH as a kite the first week or two)

He took about a month past my expected delivery date, but had no problems returning my emails or letting me know exactly where they were in the production stage. I'd gladly buy from him again.

I kind of figured that was the case. Like I said before....Growing pains!! It sounds like things are taking off for them. I would have placed an order for one if I didn't already have an ISO box

Alex at Grendel is slow responding to his customers (I had the same issue), but he ultimately comes thru. I have a feeling he is crushed with orders, and this probably isn't his primary job. I have a Dead Room, and it's pretty kickass (never had the Randall to compare to). The comparison to Cameron is pretty extreme.....Mark C. came across as pretty abrasive and his behavior was more than a bit bizarre.
