Such a great boost pedal. Wayne hooked it up with the GZ logo and custom white enclosure. Really love where the midrange sits with this circuit.

I’ve already got the 808 Screamer, which is the only boost that has hung around on my board. Chiron isn’t going anywhere, either.

love it man, I have the deluxe. I'm slowly replacing my stuff with everything Wayne makes, lol. I want a BB clone with a black and white silk screen of EC looking horribly disappointed in what I'm playing. Currently waiting on the Doc Brown flux capacitor drive as well. .

Haven’t tried a Chiron yet, but love the Griff Tone Ripper I’m currently borrowing. I’ve been through almost 200 boost type pedals at this point (many of which were good vintage or very expensive boutique stuff, including several vintage TS 808’s) and to me overall nothing is anywhere near as good as a Klon

Klon clones are always my favorite boost pedals. They just eclipse everything else in terms of tone and feel. Never played a real Klon though.

Yes, even the clones are really good. My favorite of what I had being the Decibelics Big Klone. It’s just a perfect flavor for most amps I’ve had

I try not to talk too much about the real Klon centaur silver I was lucky to get before covid since guys will say I’m a corksniffer or whatever, but for me it truly is that much better. The clones have the flavor itself totally down, but the details going on around the notes, the way notes connect to each other on leads almost like how the human voice would connect the notes, the way each note has distinct weight on sweep picked phrases rather than get washed out like the clones, all these other things I don’t know how to verbalize right now just give it that magic I don’t get in any clones I’ve had, but I would be very happy with many clones if I didn’t have a real one. It’s another time where I’d use the cheesy analogy that the real one is premium fresh squeezed oj, the Decibelics is Tropicana, Rimrock or Ryra is maybe from concentrate and EHX Soul Food or Tumnus is Sunny D if they makes sense lol, but they all have the flavor
