Did these grills for a friend of mine. He wanted all his cabs to match his other Marshall large check cab.

love it! i have some on the way for 2 of my cabs. after a long time trying to decide, i went with large check...it's just so classy looking....

wow nice!

Out of curiosity, does that grill cloth attenuate the highs more or do anything to the frequencies?

Greg, any tips for those of us about to do this? You did a great job!

Looks great.
Is it hard getting the slant baffles out?
No. You have to take the handles off to get it out.

Take your time!!!! Its a lot easier with 2 people, I could have done a better job if I would have had help. With the large check you have to really be careful because it has the lines in it. Just make sure you pull it tight before stapling because it stretches.

As far as hearing a difference, Ive never heard any, I'm sure there is but I dont think your ear can hear it.

 good job!

Makes me want to do the same to my beat up 1960B as well.

Looks awesome! I love the large check. I've replaced grillcloth a few times, but I'm not going to do it again unless I have to.  I just bought an Avatar vintage 4x12. I sent Avatar some Mojotone large check cloth and they installed it for me.

Great work...those look awesome. Hands down my favorite Marshall grill cloth...makes me want to do this to my black slant cab.

Edit: Who can do this well in western PA/eastern OH?
