Has anyone owned one? Thoughts on the neck, habanero pickups, overall quality?

I have one. Nice guitar, but for the money, I’d buy a Chubtone instead, or a Charvel. I’m not a fan of recessed Floyd’s, I prefer the top mount style. The quality is very good. It’s basically what became the Friedman Cali.

I've got the GJ2 glendora shredder I think its called. Basswood, made overseas to GJ specs. The guitar was pleked when I got it..plays like a million bucks! I've owned a Friedman Vintage S that GJ made , so the guitars play great! The pickups( habanero) didnt leave me flat or sound /feel as if the guitar needed something..playing it with a Marshall voiced amp it's quite responsive! I wanted to check it out for a couple reasons. LP scale, floyd, pleked, reasonably priced. So i would not hesitate in any regard unless your seeking something vintage or specific.

Aren't Glendoras 25,5" just like fender?

They're good guitars, tried a Ash bodied once and with was nice, but i'd replace the pickups.

This is what I was after...was wondering if they were essentially a Cali with different pickups. I’ve played the Cali’s and really liked them.

You are correct sir. I have the iGJ2 nspiration shredder. Not Glendorna. My mistake. The inspiration is the specs i mentioned. Glendorna is USA made and 25.5, alder ?
