For me the 70s were all about driving go-carts (I insisted on having two: One that was low to the ground for speed and another that was jacked up for more off road driving), playing with wind up Evel Kinevel motorcycles, and wiping my ass with old corn cobs I found in the woods.

Keeping and breeding animals I caught (fish, snakes, lizards, frogs, chameleons), yo-yos, marbles, frisbee, bicycle, Meccano set... and a toy steam train hand-me-down that used a wick fed from a tin tray of metho.
